A move to the Big 10 looks imminent for the Cornhuskers based off of several reports circulating the media. I could spend this time bashing the ridiculous amount of anonymous sources that are being used but that is for another day. I will instead pull a blogging sin and go ahead and assume that these reports are correct. Over the next couple posts I will break down several areas where the University of Nebraska will be affected.

National debut of “The Man with the Golden Arm”

Even if you don’t like baseball you know about Stephen Strasburg.

He’s the biggest baseball story in the league. ESPN, Sports Illustrated and Yahoo baseball writers have been salivating for an opportunity to write about his debut. Conversely, some guy in every fantasy baseball league has been waiting a long time for a return on his pick.

This is Stephen Strasburg. He’s already a bigger star than half the league and the Washington National hadn’t even made his first MLB start until this evening against the woeful Pittsburgh Pirates. (more…)
